The 5th grade students took part in a weather project that examined and recorded weather characteristics in a variety of communities around the world.

• The students picked a city around the world for their project
• Every day the students checked the newspaper or internet  to record their city's weather
• After two weeks of recording, the students graphed their results for each weather term
• The students compared their city with others in their class
